In Mexico, Grupo Televisa was approved by the Federal Telecommunications Institute to acquire 41% of Sky Mexico, previously owned by AT&T, allowing them to merge Izzi and Sky services. This merger represents a significant share of the internet and pay-TV market. Apple introduced Apple Intelligence with a focus on security and privacy, using a large language model with encryption for data sharing. Apple does not pay OpenAI for using ChatGPT, considering the exposure on their devices as sufficient compensation. Norway filed a complaint against Meta for using user data from Facebook and Instagram to train AI models, violating European data protection laws. Adobe clarified its terms of service, stating that they do not train their generative models with user-created content and do not claim ownership of such content.
