FL Studio has released its latest update, FL Studio 2024, which includes new music-making features such as AI-powered MIDI tools, synth plugins, and effects. The update introduces an AI-based chord progression generator, a new synth plugin called Kepler Exo inspired by Roland synths, and two new effects plugins – Low Lifter and Spreader. Edison, the onboard audio editing tool, now includes AI-powered noise removal and enhanced declipping abilities. FL Studio 2024 also supports the CLAP plugin format and has expanded its FL Cloud subscription service to offer third-party plugins and a vast sample library.
FL Cloud is available in three tiers, offering different numbers of plugins, with the Pro subscription priced at £7 per month. Existing users can update to FL Studio 2024 for free, while new users can purchase the DAW in four editions ranging from £89 to £515. The update follows the trend of AI integration in music production software, with other DAWs like Ableton Live and Logic Pro also incorporating AI-powered features in their latest updates. FL Studio 2024 aims to provide a comprehensive music-making experience with cutting-edge tools and features for producers and musicians.
