Google Gemini closes gender gap in tech with #equality.

How Google Gemini is helping close the gender gap

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being used by organizations like i-Saksham in India to address societal challenges and create opportunities. i-Saksham leverages Google Gemini, an AI technology, to empower young women through its fellowship program, “Leaders of Change,” which focuses on enhancing gender inclusion. Google’s AI capabilities help i-Saksham transcribe, translate, and summarize coaching sessions, significantly reducing processing time and allowing for more effective scaling of their programs.

Aditya Tyagi, co-founder of i-Saksham, highlights the impact of AI on their organization, allowing them to save time and costs while improving their model’s effectiveness. Google’s commitment to empowering everyone through technology is echoed by Harsh Dhand, who praises i-Saksham’s thoughtful deployment of AI and its positive impact on society.

Since 2017, i-Saksham has trained over 600 leaders in 200+ villages, impacting more than 12,000 girls and children. Their goal is to build a network of 10,000 women leaders who will mentor and inspire a million girls and women towards greater self-reliance by 2030. This demonstrates the potential of AI to amplify positive impact and drive meaningful change when used purposefully and responsibly.
