Six principles to consider when adopting AI solutions include human centricity, inclusivity, accountability, transparency, robustness, and privacy and security. By keeping the “human in the loop,” governments can leverage the strengths of AI while mitigating risks.
Overall, AI is not likely to take away jobs but rather complement the work of humans by handling tasks that are too time-consuming or boring. By understanding how AI works and adopting ethical practices, governments can harness the benefits of AI technology while ensuring the wellbeing of citizens and maintaining human-centricity in decision-making processes.
