The national workshop on ‘Generative AI tools for Agriculture’ was held in Hyderabad from 26th-28th June 2024 by ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management. The workshop focused on the potential of Generative AI in transforming agriculture by improving efficiency, productivity, and sustainability. Participants received both theoretical and practical sessions on various AI tools and software, with lectures from experts in academia and industry. The programme aimed to equip participants with the skills to independently analyze real-time data. In the closing address, Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao emphasized the transformative potential of Generative AI in agriculture and the importance of responsible AI practices. He encouraged participants to engage with ICAR-NAARM’s think tank to innovate and develop sustainable agricultural solutions. A total of 48 participants attended the workshop.
