Additionally, other polls, such as a Tyson Group poll and FiveThirtyEight.com’s tracking, also showed Trump holding a significant lead over Biden in Florida. Despite these findings, Newsweek acknowledged that Biden had made modest gains and kept the race competitive in the swing state, which has seen a shift towards more registered Republicans since 2018. Trump’s campaign spokesman emphasized that Trump continues to dominate Biden both nationally and in battleground states. Overall, while some polls suggest a close race in Florida, the majority indicate that Trump maintains a lead over Biden in the state.
