Apple has announced macOS Sequoia, the next version of its desktop operating system, with new features like iPhone Mirroring, Safari updates, and Apple Intelligence. iPhone Mirroring allows users to access and control their iPhone from their Mac, while Safari introduces Highlights for easier information discovery. The new Passwords app organizes credentials, and gaming experiences are enhanced with new titles and features. Apple Intelligence combines generative models and personal context to deliver useful intelligence across Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Other updates include easier window tiling, video conferencing improvements, and a new Passwords app for secure credential management. Apple Intelligence enhances writing and communication with new tools, image capabilities, and Siri improvements. Additional features include updates to Messages, Apple Maps, Photos, Notes, Calculator, and Calendar. The developer beta of macOS Sequoia is available now, with a public beta coming next month and a full release in the fall. Apple Intelligence will be available in beta on select devices this fall.
