Morgan Stanley launches gen AI for global analysis #finance

Morgan Stanley

Morgan Stanley is implementing a new AI app to streamline the note-taking process for financial advisors. Initially, the app will not have access to financial advisors’ books and will not be reviewed by corporate. The goal of the AI app is to save time for support professionals who previously spent hours cleaning up notes or attending meetings solely for note-taking purposes. Koren Picariello, head of generative AI & execution at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, managed the project and believes that this AI effort will allow support professionals to focus on higher-value tasks. The global analytics goal is not a priority at the moment, according to a source at Morgan Stanley.
