The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is set to be released in Australia in July, featuring a larger 4-inch external display that allows users to access apps like Spotify, play games, and capture photos without flipping open the phone. Users can also utilize Google’s Gemini AI, integrated with Google Assistant, to ask for step-by-step instructions, plan holidays, and get email suggestions. Gemini AI has access to Google apps like Maps, Gmail, Flights, YouTube, and Drive for personalized suggestions and tasks. Users will receive three months of Gemini Advanced for free, including access to Google’s latest AI model and 2TB of Google One storage.

The Razr 50 Ultra also introduces new Google Messages AI features like Photomoji and Magic Compose, as well as access to Google Photos from the cover screen. Motorola has collaborated with Google for Moto AI features like Moto magic canvas and Style Sync, as well as introducing Moto tag, a tracker similar to Airtags. The collaboration with Google aims to redefine what a smartphone can be, according to Dan Dery, Head of Software Experiences at Motorola.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will be available for pre-order starting July 2 at a price of A$1,699 from various retailers in Australia.
