Notion, a workplace collaboration and productivity app, has launched a new website builder called Notion Sites. Users can create and customize web pages using templates and publish them with a single click. The tool also offers custom SEO settings and Google Analytics integration for tracking site usage. The product lead at Notion, Matt Piccolella, stated that Notion Sites can turn a Notion page into a full-fledged website, eliminating the need for a separate content management system. While Notion does not allow HTML and JavaScript editing, it offers features like generative AI and integration of PDFs and interactive maps to enhance the website-building experience.
Notion Sites is available to users of all Notion plans, but some customization options are limited to paid plan users. The platform aims to simplify the process of creating and publishing websites, allowing users to focus on other tasks without the need for extensive technical knowledge.
