Opera integrates Google’s Gemini AI into browser for enhanced performance #AIOpera

Opera is adding Google's Gemini AI to its browser

Opera has integrated Google’s Gemini AI models into its Aria built-in AI assistant, allowing users to access the most current information at high performance. Google has touted Gemini as its most capable language model ever built, with features integrated across its products and even into Android. Opera’s partnership with Google also enables new experimental features through its AI Feature Drop program, such as a new image generation feature powered by Google’s Imagen 2 model. Users of the Opera One Developer version can try these features for free, including asking Aria to generate specific images or listening to responses in a conversational tone. Feedback from early adopters will determine any changes before a potential rollout to all users.
