Bayer and Rad AI team up for radiology workflow. #AIradiology

GenAI radiology workflow company Rad AI has partnered with Bayer to bring its technology to Calantic Digital Solution customers. Calantic is a cloud-based marketplace of AI-enabled radiology apps designed to automate routine tasks. Rad AI offers generative AI tools to streamline workflows, including the Rad AI Omni Impressions platform that generates AI-enabled report impressions based on radiologist dictation. These technologies will now be available to Calantic’s customers through the collaboration.

Bayer’s senior vice president of digital solutions, Rich Dewit, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting the potential for AI to optimize and streamline radiology reporting for physicians and benefit patients and health systems. This collaboration aims to demonstrate the ROI of AI applications in healthcare operations.

In addition to the partnership with Bayer, Rad AI has previously announced collaborations with LucidHealth and Google Cloud to expand the use of its technology. The company has also secured significant funding, including $50 million in Series B funding in May 2021, bringing its total raise to over $80 million. These partnerships and funding indicate the growing interest and investment in AI technologies for radiology workflow optimization.
