Shivani Verma, a woman entrepreneur, has developed an AI tool called “Divya Drishti” that combines face recognition with physiological parameters like gait and skeleton. This innovative solution won the Dare to Dream Innovation contest 2.0 organized by DRDO. The tool enhances biometric authentication technology by improving accuracy and reliability in identifying individuals. By integrating facial recognition with gait analysis, Divya Drishti creates a robust authentication system that minimizes the risk of false positives or identity fraud. The tool has versatile applications in various sectors such as Defence, Law Enforcement, Corporate, and Public Infrastructure. Developed under the guidance of DRDO’s Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Robotics, Divya Drishti has been praised by Samir V Kamat, Secretary of Department of Defence R&D and Chairman of DRDO, for promoting startups in the defense and aerospace industry to achieve the vision of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’.
