OpenAI Attempts to Copyright Strike ChatGPT Subreddit

OpenAI, known for using copyrighted materials to train its AI models, has recently tried to copyright strike the r/ChatGPT subreddit for allegedly using its logo without permission. The complaint was made public by the subreddit’s moderator HOLUPREDICTIONS, who shared a screenshot of the submission accusing r/ChatGPT of unauthorized use of OpenAI’s logo. The complaint requested the removal of the copyrighted image from the subreddit profile by May 16. This move by OpenAI has been criticized as hypocritical given the company’s own use of copyrighted content in developing its AI models.
