The group also accuses OpenAI of not responding adequately to requests for access to personal data. ChatGPT, which gained popularity in 2022 for its impressive capabilities, has faced legal challenges in Italy and France. NOYB is calling for an investigation and fine against OpenAI to ensure compliance with EU law. Despite efforts to regulate AI, NOYB remains skeptical about the authorities’ ability to effectively oversee the technology.
