Snowflake Ventures, Snowflake’s investment firm, is making a multi-year investment in Mistral AI. Mistral AI’s LLM, Mistral Large, will be available on Snowflake’s Data Cloud for customers. Mistral Large can process hundreds of pages of documents simultaneously and is fluent in five languages. Snowflake customers will also have access to Mistral’s open source AI model Mixtral 8x7B, which surpasses OpenAI’s GPT3.5 in speed and quality of response.
